Polzin Park - Transforming a neighborhood through play:

The site on the corner of 23rd and Mead in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin contained a vacant brick building and a derelict fenced yard.  The Racine Community Outpost was building one if their very successful COP (Community Oriented Policing) Houses across the street and with a generous contribution from SC Johnson (headquartered in nearby Racine), they wanted to create a park for the neighborhood at this corner location.

In the summer of 2014, Bob Collins with RGC Design met with Racine Community Outpost staff to review the existing site and begin the process.  RGC Design guided the Racine Community Outpost from conceptual design through development, truly transforming the neighborhood into a vibrant and fun place to live, work and play.
